Archeage leather mage. Why exactly should a mage use cloth armor rather than leather? It seems that the bonuses for leather are better, whether you're doing pvp or pve. In 1v1 is basically playable if you manage to outplay your enemy and avoid all dmg by putting him into a cc rotation. Would not recommend going leather, it does give 3% more evasion but don't think since leather gives a little bit of both that it will make you even remotely tanky against either damage type.
